Vascular Surgery at a Glance will continue the At a Glance series style and ethos, i.e., ‘bite size’ topics displayed on a double page spread with plain language explanations of all the common, and not so common, vascular subjects. As with previous At a Glance books there will be pictures, illustrations and other aide-memoires. Each chapter will focus on understanding the relevant concepts and basic principles of vascular disease and surgery, with additional factual information once this is achieved. This will not be a ‘cardiovascular’ book, i.e., it will not concern itself with cardiac disease, which is a whole other subject covered extensively elsewhere. Furthermore, this book will form a curriculum backbone for any specialist at all levels who has an on-going commitment to vascular disease management and medical education.
