The authors are credible authorities in the subject matter.Features: The book concentrates on recent scientific approaches to restorative dentistry and preservation of as much tooth structure as possible. The text reflects on new trends in bonded restorations, bleaching techniques, anterior ceramic restorations, and fluoride releasing materials. The basics of biological, esthetic, and pulpal considerations, as well as diagnosis and treatment planning are included. The best feature is a well balanced portfolio of tables, graphs, flowcharts, pictures, and photographs. The book is unique in its provision of color flowcharts, pictures, photographs, and decision trees with step-by-step procedural approaches. However, there are inadequate chapters on occlusion and color matching.
